1. Who We Are

This admissions portal is operated by Christian Service University (CSU) in partnership with I-Akrotech Company Limited, who provide the technical platform. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected when you apply for admission through this portal.

2. Data We Collect

• Personal information: full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, contact number, and email address.
• Academic credentials: certificates, transcripts, and qualification details you submit as part of your application.
• Identification documents: National ID, passport, or other ID documents uploaded during the application process.
• Application data: COURSE selected, application form responses, and submission timestamps.
• Payment data: application fee amounts, payment dates, and Paystack transaction references. Card numbers and mobile money PINs are not stored - all payment processing is handled securely by Paystack.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session identifiers used to secure your account.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To process and review your admission application.
• To verify your identity and the authenticity of submitted documents.
• To collect and confirm your application fee payment via Paystack.
• To communicate with you regarding your application status, admission decisions, and enrolment instructions.
• To generate and send your admission letter upon approval.
• To maintain accurate academic and financial records as required by institutional and regulatory obligations.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to protect your account against unauthorised access. We do not use cookies for advertising. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from staying logged in to your application portal.

5. Sharing Your Data

Your personal data is shared only with:

• CSU Admissions Office - who are the primary data controllers for your application.
• Paystack - for secure application fee processing (see Paystack's Privacy Policy).
• I-Akrotech Company Limited - as platform operators, subject to a data processing agreement with the institution.
• Regulatory or accreditation bodies - only where required by law or institutional accreditation obligations.

6. Data Retention

Application data (including uploaded documents) is retained for a minimum of 7 years following the application year for audit and accreditation purposes, regardless of outcome. Payment records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with financial regulations.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, subject to the institution's legal retention obligations. To make such a request, contact the Admissions Office at admissions@csuc.edu.gh.

8. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. Uploaded documents are stored in access-controlled storage and are not publicly accessible. Despite these measures, you should use a strong, unique password for your account.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this admissions portal, creating an account, or submitting an application to Christian Service University, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the associated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use this portal. These terms may be updated at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be a genuine prospective student or authorised representative to use this portal.
• You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and throughout the application process.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Do not share your login details with any third party.
• Applicants must be of the minimum age required for the selected COURSE of study.

3. Application Process

• Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. All applications are subject to review and approval by the CSU Admissions Office.
• You must upload genuine, unaltered copies of all required documents. Submission of fraudulent or forged documents constitutes grounds for immediate disqualification and may be reported to relevant authorities.
• Applications may be saved as drafts and completed in stages until final submission. Ensure all required documents are uploaded before the COURSE deadline.
• The institution reserves the right to request additional documentation or information at any stage of the review process.

4. Application Fees & Payments

• Application fees are COURSE-specific and are displayed before payment. All fees are in GHS (Ghana Cedis) and must be paid via the integrated Paystack payment gateway.
• Application fees are generally non-refundable, including where payment is still being processed or already confirmed, except where a COURSE is cancelled by the institution. Please review the refund policy before applying.
• Payment of an application fee does not constitute enrolment or guarantee admission.
• In the event of a genuine payment error or duplicate charge, contact admissions@csuc.edu.gh within 5 working days with your Paystack reference number.

5. Accuracy of Information

CSU reserves the right to rescind any offer of admission, enrolment, or qualification if it is later discovered that false or misleading information was provided at any stage of the application process. This includes but is not limited to misrepresentation of qualifications, identity, or personal circumstances.

6. Platform Use

• This portal is for lawful admissions purposes only. Any attempt to misuse, probe, or attack the platform is prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.
• Do not attempt to access any account, data, or resource that you are not authorised to access.
• Do not upload malware, spam, or any content that could harm the platform or other users.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, and branding are the property of I-Akrotech Company Limited. CSU logos, crests, and institutional materials are the property of Christian Service University. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis. Neither Christian Service University nor I-Akrotech Company Limited shall be liable for any loss or damage arising from platform downtime, data loss, or errors in application processing beyond their reasonable control. The institution's liability shall not exceed the application fee paid by the applicant.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes relating to these Terms or the admissions process shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
